She earned her Doctorate and Manual Therapy Certification through the University of Saint Augustine, known for it's premier manual therapy program under Dr. Paris. Seven semesters of coursework and lab included: Advanced Evaluation & Manipulation of Spine, Pelvis,  Subcranial spine, Lumbo-pelvic-hip complex, and Extremity integration.  

 

Dr. Garcia's first therapy job was with the original therapists for Dr. Kerlan and Dr. Jobe of the Lakers in Los Angeles.  She attended NYU physical therapy school (#1 rated US News), while working in the athletic training department and playing varsity volleyball.  Her NYU internships were at Hospital for Special Surgery and Lenox Hill with the sports medicine team of Dr. Nicholas (NY Jets/Joffrey Ballet).
